Color Combo

Color combo: peach + gray
Would you wear peach and gray together? If you are a trendy girl, you will say “definitely yes”. Those two colors seem like total opposites, but the fact is that peach gives off a soft and feminine vibe and when combined with the neutral, yet gray, creates outfits that are both super chic and perfectly balanced. Wanna a cute and casual outfit, ladies? Then combine these two colors!

Trend alert: leather baggy trousers

The latest runway shows have confirmed it: the leather baggy trousers are back. From moto-rocker to casual-cool, leather trousers have become looser and more confy. These baggy styles are undeniably effortless and certainly trendy. Prepare yourself once the cold hit back again!

Tom Ford wants to become the biggest fashion name in the world
Megalomaniac? Well…May be… The fact is that the designer is plotting to dominate the global market with his clothing brand and thinks he could be more influential than the likes of Chanel and Gucci within the next decade. Wow!
"If not number one, then number two. I could and will, certainly within the next 10 years, if not sooner. But I think that there are very few people in the world that could. I say that in the most humble way, meaning that I've had every advantage that anyone could possibly have. I had enough money to self-finance. I had a well-known name. I had 20 years of experience working for very big companies with no fear of scale”, he told WWD.
Tom left his post as creative director at YSL to set up his own label in 2004.

Go Digital!

Digital prints have been a hot fashion trend for a few seasons now, and we’ve recently noticed them popping up with increased frequency. In case you didn’t know, digital prints are dramatic motifs (often from photographs) made on a computer for a specific garment. The most popular styles of digital prints are bold, almost psychedelic motifs. Designers like Mary Katrantzou (catwalk picture) have made them increasingly popular in recent seasons. Get a piece and make a statement!

Having trouble to tie a tie?
Then follow these instructions below...  There are four necktie knots are in widespread use. They are the four-in-hand knot, the half-Windsor knot, the Windsor knot and the Shell knot. Get over it!

Gucci go eco
Gucci has created a handbag range using legally produced leather from the Brazilian Amazon. The luxury fashion brand has teamed with Green Carpet Challenge, co-founded by actor Colin Firth's wife Livia Firth, for the collection of responsibly sourced bags featuring three styles - the hobo, the top-handle tote and the New Jackie - which are already on sale in Gucci stores and online.
The Gucci for the Green Carpet Challenge Handbag Collection all bear a GCC brand mark as well as a 'passport' which documents the origins of the bag, as well as allows the owner to trace where the materials came from.
The red wine-coloured bags are guaranteed to not cause deforestation and Gucci has begun using cattle ranches which are certified by the National Wildlife Federation and Rainforest Alliance.
Right on, Gucci! We  totally approve the idea!

Check it out!

Checker print is 60s and such graphic and stark, and in the same, it is simple. Black and white is definitely best, and it works well on anything with sleek lines and nice tailoring, like a miniskirt or a sheath dress. It definitely has to be the focal point of the outfit, so keep it cool avoiding other statement pieces.

Go classic in a sweatshirt
A little bit scholarly, a little bit preppy, and a little bit trendy,  sweatshirt is also great for a polished look.  Want to know how to wear a sweatshirt without just resorting to the old jeans-and-sweatshirt uniform? We have carefully selected some great, slightly less avant-garde street style looks, check it out!

Frida Giannini has given birth to her first child

The Creative Director of Gucci and her husband Patrizio Di Marco - the label's president and CEO - welcomed their daughter Greta into the world on March 2 and Frida is now taking time to look after her newborn baby. A spokesperson from Gucci confirmed "both mother and baby are doing well".

Frida, 40, last made an appearance on the catwalk two weeks ago when she debuted Gucci's autumn/winter 2013-14 show during Milan Fashion Week - the day before she left for her maternity leave - and it is thought the new mother will return to work in June before the menswear show.  Congrats, Frida! ;)

Heavy Metal

Prepare to a more futuristic approach once the temperatures rise. Metallic were injected into classic suiting to sportswear pieces for this summer. Designers such as Lanvin, Versace,  Burberry and Gucci showcased it prominently through tailoring in the form of structured shirts and trouser suits. Be brave enough and try them on!

Jennifer Lawrence led the way for light colours on this year's Oscars red carpet
The 22-year-old beauty - who took home the Best Actress prize for her role in 'Silver Linings Playbook' - looked stunning in a blush strapless Dior Haute Couture gown, which highlighted her slim waist and was complemented by a simple up-do. And Jennifer wasn't the only star who opted for a pale hue.
Best Supporting Actress winner Anne Hathaway made a statement in a baby pink Prada dress, which she teamed with Tiffany & Co jewels while Jessica Chastain looked amazing in her nude sequinned Armani Prive nude gown.
Amy Adams opted for an Oscar de la Renta powder blue princess dress and Charlize Theron looked her usual stylish self in a tailored white Dior dress. Amanda Seyfried and Kristen Stewart also went for a light colour. Which one of the actress got the most stylish look?

Milan Fashion Week comes to an end today

Gianfranco Ferre - which sees designer duo Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron at the creative helm - introduced a softer silhouette last season and critics will be keen to see how their vision has evolved for next season.
Milan Fashion Week has already seen displays from Dolce & Gabbana, Marni, Missoni, Emporio Armani and Salvatore Ferragamo, which Gucci helped kick off MFW in style last week.
