MaxMara have named a coat after the Duchess of Cambridge 
The Italian haute couture brand have paid tribute to Duchess Catherine by naming one of their outerwear pieces The Kate.
The Duchess wore the beige cashmere coat from the label during a visit to Cambridge last November and as a result, it sold out instantly. Now, as a mark of thanks, the label has reissued the coat and renamed it after her. The knee-length piece has a high neck and a bow-fronted belt and is available from the Italian label's diffusion line, MaxMara Studio.



Karl Largerfeld stars in a new video game 
The online game 'Je Veux Les Lunettes De Karl' - challenges players to try and remove the Chanel creative designer's trademark sunglasses, which he is never seen without.
The challenge went live on Wednesday, giving people the chance to win free Lagerfeld sunglasses or limited-edition Tokidoki figurines of the iconic fashion designer.
The fashion designer appears as a Tokidoki cartoon and is never seen without his sunglasses in the game.
Players have to click on his fast-moving figure in an attempt to remove his shades, and if they are too slow he taps his foot impatiently.
The game has been set up by Optic 2000, Karl's exclusive eyewear distributor in France. Only French residents can claim prizes.

The celebrated fashion believes his career has had such longevity because he has the ability to adapt and reinvent himself for every client, just like the Queen of Pop.
"Ultimately I made my range wider because I wanted to suit each publication that I worked for. Talk about reinvention - I'm like the Madonna of photography", he said dddressing the fashion-loving crowd at the Vogue festival in London's Southbank Centre.

Adele will perform 'Skyfall' at the Oscars next month

The 24-year-old pop star will perform the theme to the latest James Bond movie during the 85th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on February 24. The track, which Adele co-wrote with Paul Epworth, has been nominated for Original Song and is the first Bond theme to get an Oscar nod since 'For Your Eyes Only' in 1981. White Ribbon Day

Stella McCartney has designed an anti-violence badge. The British fashion designer is taking a stand against violence towards women by creating a bespoke White Ribbon online badge which will run alongside a two-week online campaign in the run up to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25. The campaign is being promoted by social networking sight including Facebook and Twitter, and users can share the badge with friends via twibbon.com.


Angel’s life can be hell


The Victoria's Secret fashion show is like the "Olympics" for its models, aka “Angles”. They begin preparations for the annual extravaganza a month in advance, with trainer Justin Gelband - who sees them for three-hour workouts twice a day - admitting their daily routines become very "intense". Justin said: "This is their Olympics and my Oscars. Everything is more intense, from food to sleep. We focus on lots of protein, eating the proper carbs, staying away from bread and pasta, keeping hydrated."
