The New Blazer

Blazer in summer shades of washed out lilac, mercury grey, tender yellow and blush pink will dominate the streets this spring – with bold mid-tone highlights of arctic blue, vetiver green and burnt sienna. Guys, its time to go classical on pastel shades!

Spring style
If you’re looking for a way to put some spring in your step, grab a pair of floral print pumps. Just wear the style with an all-black ensemble, like the street style shot above or you can also paired it with a dress or skirt.

Sam Mendes won't direct the next Bond filmThe 'Skyfall' director is too busy with his theatre commitments to helm the 24th chapter of the Daniel Craig-fronted spy franchise and has regretfully decided to pass up producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli's "generous" offer.
Blockbuster hit 'Skyfall' has passed the $1.1bn mark to become the highest-grossing film ever , and 47-year-old director Sam was rumoured to be returning for the next instalment after the praise he received for his fresh take on the long-running franchise.
However, the filmmaker doesn't want to leave the Bond family for good and hopes to be involved in secret agent 007's adventures in the future.
Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Ralph Fiennes will all reprise their roles in the action flick, with filming reportedly taking place early next year.

Go Digital!

Digital prints have been a hot fashion trend for a few seasons now, and we’ve recently noticed them popping up with increased frequency. In case you didn’t know, digital prints are dramatic motifs (often from photographs) made on a computer for a specific garment. The most popular styles of digital prints are bold, almost psychedelic motifs. Designers like Mary Katrantzou (catwalk picture) have made them increasingly popular in recent seasons. Get a piece and make a statement!

Gucci go eco
Gucci has created a handbag range using legally produced leather from the Brazilian Amazon. The luxury fashion brand has teamed with Green Carpet Challenge, co-founded by actor Colin Firth's wife Livia Firth, for the collection of responsibly sourced bags featuring three styles - the hobo, the top-handle tote and the New Jackie - which are already on sale in Gucci stores and online.
The Gucci for the Green Carpet Challenge Handbag Collection all bear a GCC brand mark as well as a 'passport' which documents the origins of the bag, as well as allows the owner to trace where the materials came from.
The red wine-coloured bags are guaranteed to not cause deforestation and Gucci has begun using cattle ranches which are certified by the National Wildlife Federation and Rainforest Alliance.
Right on, Gucci! We  totally approve the idea!

Check it out!

Checker print is 60s and such graphic and stark, and in the same, it is simple. Black and white is definitely best, and it works well on anything with sleek lines and nice tailoring, like a miniskirt or a sheath dress. It definitely has to be the focal point of the outfit, so keep it cool avoiding other statement pieces.

Go classic in a sweatshirt
A little bit scholarly, a little bit preppy, and a little bit trendy,  sweatshirt is also great for a polished look.  Want to know how to wear a sweatshirt without just resorting to the old jeans-and-sweatshirt uniform? We have carefully selected some great, slightly less avant-garde street style looks, check it out!

Frida Giannini has given birth to her first child

The Creative Director of Gucci and her husband Patrizio Di Marco - the label's president and CEO - welcomed their daughter Greta into the world on March 2 and Frida is now taking time to look after her newborn baby. A spokesperson from Gucci confirmed "both mother and baby are doing well".

Frida, 40, last made an appearance on the catwalk two weeks ago when she debuted Gucci's autumn/winter 2013-14 show during Milan Fashion Week - the day before she left for her maternity leave - and it is thought the new mother will return to work in June before the menswear show.  Congrats, Frida! ;)

Karl Lagerfeld is enjoying working with plastic for the first time
The legendary Chanel designer is collaborating with Melissa - who are known for their colourful plastic jelly shoes - over the next four seasons and has enjoyed the venture because it is so unfamiliar.
"The fact that I will discover something I know little about, that is the most exciting part of this cobranding. It's not the first time I've done shoes. I design footwear the same way I design clothes - with a feeling I express in my design. I had never worked with plastic in this way before, it's not the classic technique. I am used to working with more traditional techniques for Fendi, Chanel and Lagerfeld shoes”, he said.
Karl was speaking as he unveiled a preview of his first four-piece collection with Melissa, who have previously collaborated with Dame Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier and model Alessandra Ambrosio.
The venture is one of many keeping Karl busy this month, in addition to the Fendi show in Milan and Chanel show in Paris, he is also launching a new high-tech boutique in the French capital, through which he'll showcase clothing, accessories and gadgets, including his Shu Uemura make-up line and watch collaboration with Fossil.

Midi Dress it is!

We love looks that remind us the 30’s glamour,  that’s why we love a midi dress! The length is great for the transitional weather, plus it has a very ladylike aesthetic making it completely on trend.  The key of this vintage piece is to keep the styling modern.  Go for booties, belts, tougher jewellery and make a statement.

Sporty Man
Set to be the trend of the season, sportswear is making a comeback. Unlike the womenswear of sports luxe, menswear is taking it back to basics with more practical and utilitarian alternatives. The trend is through baseball shirts, neoprene suits, sports vests, skateboards, utilitarian trainers and sporting jackets. Ready to some action?

Scarlett Johansson has formed a girl band
The actress has got together with a group of friends to form the all-female group. Although she is best known for her acting, Scarlett recorded 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' - a collection of Tom Waits covers - in 2006, and collaborated with Pete Yorn for 'Break Up' in 2008, both of which were well received by critics.  You rock, girl!

Tilda Swinton has become the latest star of Chanel
The French fashion house's creative director Karl Lagerfeld cast the Oscar-winning actress in iconic brand's advertising campaign for the Paris-Edinburgh collection, the luxury metiers d'art range of pre-fall ready-to-wear.
Karl chose Tilda because her Scottish roots matches the collection's inspiration, and she is also "a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance".
The shoot took place earlier this month in the Chateau d'Ecouen, a castle from the Renaissance period located near Chantilly, France.
Last year, Tilda starred in a short futuristic fashion film, created by Paris-based photographer and artist Katerina Jebb.
