Color Combo

Color combo: peach + gray
Would you wear peach and gray together? If you are a trendy girl, you will say “definitely yes”. Those two colors seem like total opposites, but the fact is that peach gives off a soft and feminine vibe and when combined with the neutral, yet gray, creates outfits that are both super chic and perfectly balanced. Wanna a cute and casual outfit, ladies? Then combine these two colors!

Trend alert: leather baggy trousers

The latest runway shows have confirmed it: the leather baggy trousers are back. From moto-rocker to casual-cool, leather trousers have become looser and more confy. These baggy styles are undeniably effortless and certainly trendy. Prepare yourself once the cold hit back again!

Tom Ford wants to become the biggest fashion name in the world
Megalomaniac? Well…May be… The fact is that the designer is plotting to dominate the global market with his clothing brand and thinks he could be more influential than the likes of Chanel and Gucci within the next decade. Wow!
"If not number one, then number two. I could and will, certainly within the next 10 years, if not sooner. But I think that there are very few people in the world that could. I say that in the most humble way, meaning that I've had every advantage that anyone could possibly have. I had enough money to self-finance. I had a well-known name. I had 20 years of experience working for very big companies with no fear of scale”, he told WWD.
Tom left his post as creative director at YSL to set up his own label in 2004.

The Sport Chic

Work out clothes? Hardly. Sport chic look has found its way onto our radars and perhaps into our hearts with track jackets, athletic tees, school sweatshirts and varsity of sneakers. The result is straight street chic – comfortable and slightly edgy, a healthy mix of classic and modern. Check it out the trend and get inspired!

Roberto Cavalli has slammed Karl Lagerfeld as "ridiculous"

The italian designer has hit out at his fellow sartorialist, claiming the Chanel creative director "doesn't have to" dress in the way he does, teaming black sunglasses with a signature black suit. Roberto told The Hunger magazine: "Just because you are an artist you don't have to dress like that. Karl Lagerfeld, he looks ridiculous." Do you agree with the Italian designer?

Diane Kruger has been named the new face of Chanel Skincare

The star's "sophistication" has always attracted the brand, and they were keen to extend their work with her by using her for a new beauty campaign.
Attracted by her sophistication and artistic spirit, the House of Chanel chose her for its Allure fragrance advertising campaign in 1996, then again for the Paris-Biarritz handbag advertising campaign, shot by Karl Lagerfeld in 2007.
Now an ambassadress for Chanel, Diane Kruger will be the face of a new skincare advertising campaign, due to be unveiled in 2013.

Midi Dress it is!

We love looks that remind us the 30’s glamour,  that’s why we love a midi dress! The length is great for the transitional weather, plus it has a very ladylike aesthetic making it completely on trend.  The key of this vintage piece is to keep the styling modern.  Go for booties, belts, tougher jewellery and make a statement.

Sporty Man
Set to be the trend of the season, sportswear is making a comeback. Unlike the womenswear of sports luxe, menswear is taking it back to basics with more practical and utilitarian alternatives. The trend is through baseball shirts, neoprene suits, sports vests, skateboards, utilitarian trainers and sporting jackets. Ready to some action?

Scarlett Johansson has formed a girl band
The actress has got together with a group of friends to form the all-female group. Although she is best known for her acting, Scarlett recorded 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' - a collection of Tom Waits covers - in 2006, and collaborated with Pete Yorn for 'Break Up' in 2008, both of which were well received by critics.  You rock, girl!

Tilda Swinton has become the latest star of Chanel
The French fashion house's creative director Karl Lagerfeld cast the Oscar-winning actress in iconic brand's advertising campaign for the Paris-Edinburgh collection, the luxury metiers d'art range of pre-fall ready-to-wear.
Karl chose Tilda because her Scottish roots matches the collection's inspiration, and she is also "a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance".
The shoot took place earlier this month in the Chateau d'Ecouen, a castle from the Renaissance period located near Chantilly, France.
Last year, Tilda starred in a short futuristic fashion film, created by Paris-based photographer and artist Katerina Jebb.

Try Hot pink !

Neon was spotted on the womens wear catwalks every now and again, but took the spotlight on the menswear catwalks – particularly in London. Hot pink was the key shade, showcased through bright jumpers and blazers at Topman, stripe details at Sibling and patterned trouser suits at Meadham Kirchoff. Afraid? Don't be! According to a research, men who wear pink shirts to work earn more and are better qualified than those who favour traditional colours such as white or blue. If this is completely true we don't know, but it doesn't' hurt trying, right?

Paris Fashion Week starts today
Concluding four weeks of international shows, the French capital follows in the footsteps of New York, London and Milan by showcasing the autumn/winter 2013 presentations from some of fashion's biggest names.
Alexander Wang will make his debut at Balenciaga on Thursday morning (28.02.13), having Nicolas Ghesquière in November last year, and all eyes will be on him to see what he has to offer.
Raf Simons' will show his second ready-to-wear collection for Dior the following day (01.03.13), while Hedi Slimane's next offering for Saint Laurent is sure to attract a star-studded front row.
However, Alexander McQueen is missing from the show line-up this season as creative director Sarah Burton is on maternity leave so the label will instead host an intimate presentation.
Other labels to show at PFW include Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin and Isabel Marant. We are looking forward to see what Paris will bring! Yay!

From summer to fall
While boots have always been a wardrobe staple for fall, the wedge was something that was reserved for summer… until now! A platform wedge is the ultimate fall shoe must-have due to its tendency to be uber chunky, yet trendsetting and sexy, regardless of whether they’re paired jeans or midi skirts.
