Fedora
hats are sexy because the front angle of the hat draws people's attention to
your eyes, making you look mysteriously cool. A fedora gives a sophisticated
punch to a casual outfit.
Victoria Beckham is launching her debut e-commerce site
The
designer had a "hands on" approach in creating her revamped website victoriabeckham.com, which will stock
her ready-to-wear collection, contemporary Victoria by Victoria Beckham line,
accessories, eyewear and denim for the first time.
The
site will also sell an exclusive array of reissued dresses from previous
seasons, The Victoria Beckham Icon collection, with a new selection becoming
available every few months.
Victoria
explained to WWD: "They don't seem to date, and the customer feels good in
them. Once it's sold out, that's it. There will be no more. I limit my
production.
Since
20 percent of her fashion empire's revenue currently comes via other retailers'
websites, the former Spice Girl felt it was important to create a "modern,
clean and easy" site of her own.
Gwyneth
Paltrow is opening a hair salon
The
actress has teamed up with the people responsible for her own glossy locks,
hairstylist David Babaii and trainer Tracy Anderson, to launch David Babaii
Blow Dry Bar in Brentwood, California, on April 4.
The
salon is in keeping with Gwyneth's own eco-friendly lifestyle and will stock 14
cruelty-free products from David's eponymous haircare line - which don't
contain sulfates, parabens or petrochemicals – to help fans achieve an A-list
look.
Gwyneth
follows in the footsteps of stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe, who opened a
luxury New York blow dry salon called DreamDry in February. The actress could
face stiff competition from Rachel since she is gearing up to open several more
salons across the US after taking a mammoth 3,000 bookings in just a few weeks.
