Midi Dress it is!

We love looks that remind us the 30’s glamour,  that’s why we love a midi dress! The length is great for the transitional weather, plus it has a very ladylike aesthetic making it completely on trend.  The key of this vintage piece is to keep the styling modern.  Go for booties, belts, tougher jewellery and make a statement.

Sporty Man
Set to be the trend of the season, sportswear is making a comeback. Unlike the womenswear of sports luxe, menswear is taking it back to basics with more practical and utilitarian alternatives. The trend is through baseball shirts, neoprene suits, sports vests, skateboards, utilitarian trainers and sporting jackets. Ready to some action?

Scarlett Johansson has formed a girl band
The actress has got together with a group of friends to form the all-female group. Although she is best known for her acting, Scarlett recorded 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' - a collection of Tom Waits covers - in 2006, and collaborated with Pete Yorn for 'Break Up' in 2008, both of which were well received by critics.  You rock, girl!

Tilda Swinton has become the latest star of Chanel
The French fashion house's creative director Karl Lagerfeld cast the Oscar-winning actress in iconic brand's advertising campaign for the Paris-Edinburgh collection, the luxury metiers d'art range of pre-fall ready-to-wear.
Karl chose Tilda because her Scottish roots matches the collection's inspiration, and she is also "a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance".
The shoot took place earlier this month in the Chateau d'Ecouen, a castle from the Renaissance period located near Chantilly, France.
Last year, Tilda starred in a short futuristic fashion film, created by Paris-based photographer and artist Katerina Jebb.

Try Hot pink !

Neon was spotted on the womens wear catwalks every now and again, but took the spotlight on the menswear catwalks – particularly in London. Hot pink was the key shade, showcased through bright jumpers and blazers at Topman, stripe details at Sibling and patterned trouser suits at Meadham Kirchoff. Afraid? Don't be! According to a research, men who wear pink shirts to work earn more and are better qualified than those who favour traditional colours such as white or blue. If this is completely true we don't know, but it doesn't' hurt trying, right?

Paris Fashion Week starts today
Concluding four weeks of international shows, the French capital follows in the footsteps of New York, London and Milan by showcasing the autumn/winter 2013 presentations from some of fashion's biggest names.
Alexander Wang will make his debut at Balenciaga on Thursday morning (28.02.13), having Nicolas Ghesquière in November last year, and all eyes will be on him to see what he has to offer.
Raf Simons' will show his second ready-to-wear collection for Dior the following day (01.03.13), while Hedi Slimane's next offering for Saint Laurent is sure to attract a star-studded front row.
However, Alexander McQueen is missing from the show line-up this season as creative director Sarah Burton is on maternity leave so the label will instead host an intimate presentation.
Other labels to show at PFW include Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin and Isabel Marant. We are looking forward to see what Paris will bring! Yay!

From summer to fall
While boots have always been a wardrobe staple for fall, the wedge was something that was reserved for summer… until now! A platform wedge is the ultimate fall shoe must-have due to its tendency to be uber chunky, yet trendsetting and sexy, regardless of whether they’re paired jeans or midi skirts.

Heavy Metal

Prepare to a more futuristic approach once the temperatures rise. Metallic were injected into classic suiting to sportswear pieces for this summer. Designers such as Lanvin, Versace,  Burberry and Gucci showcased it prominently through tailoring in the form of structured shirts and trouser suits. Be brave enough and try them on!

Jennifer Lawrence led the way for light colours on this year's Oscars red carpet
The 22-year-old beauty - who took home the Best Actress prize for her role in 'Silver Linings Playbook' - looked stunning in a blush strapless Dior Haute Couture gown, which highlighted her slim waist and was complemented by a simple up-do. And Jennifer wasn't the only star who opted for a pale hue.
Best Supporting Actress winner Anne Hathaway made a statement in a baby pink Prada dress, which she teamed with Tiffany & Co jewels while Jessica Chastain looked amazing in her nude sequinned Armani Prive nude gown.
Amy Adams opted for an Oscar de la Renta powder blue princess dress and Charlize Theron looked her usual stylish self in a tailored white Dior dress. Amanda Seyfried and Kristen Stewart also went for a light colour. Which one of the actress got the most stylish look?

Milan Fashion Week comes to an end today
The Italian fashion capital will see two of its most influential institutions - Giorgio Armani and Gianfranco Ferre - showcase their autumn/winter 2013 collections, concluding six full days of presentations from some of the world's biggest labels.
Armani - who is known for his refined elegance, beautiful colours and understated luxury - will show first and he is yet again set to present and slick and well-executed show.
Gianfranco Ferre - which sees designer duo Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron at the creative helm - introduced a softer silhouette last season and critics will be keen to see how their vision has evolved for next season.
Milan Fashion Week has already seen displays from Dolce & Gabbana, Marni, Missoni, Emporio Armani and Salvatore Ferragamo, which Gucci helped kick off MFW in style last week.
Fashion Week - which started off in New York and was then followed by London and Milan - then moves onto its final destination of Paris. Check out some of the looks we are in love with:
Dolce & Gabbana, Marni, Missoni, and Salvatore Ferragamo

Magenta lips

We are loving magenta lipstick. The fantastic thing about the magenta color lip trend is that it isn't one of those looks that only models can pull off. Plus, it takes mere minutes to DIY. Look how awesome the color looks on the celebs! Keep things fresh and modern by pairing the bold lip with healthy and luminous skin.

Gold is the color, according to L'Wren Scott's show at London Fashion Week
The designer - who is in a relationship with  Mick Jagger - showed in the UK for the first time over the weekend and was pleased the collection went down well.
L'Wren usually shows in New York and she admitted part of her reluctance to bring her runway show to London is the lack of "great models", who tend to favour Milan, Paris or the US city. She said: "You don't always have as big a choice of great models in London as you have in other cities. But London is my home and it's where I go about my business quietly - moving my show here is like coming out of the shadows."
The collection featured tailored outfits in sort pastel leathers or brocades, and were embellished with integral gold jewellery, gold swirls and teamed with 23 carat gold-leaf shoes.

The fashion designer unveiled the autumn/winter collection 2013/14 for her Victoria, Victoria Beckham line at New York Fashion Week yesterday (12.02.13), and explained that her latest designs are for independent and sophisticated women.

She wrote in the show notes: "I feel like the Victoria, Victoria Beckham girl this season is an engaged intellectual with a sense of humour. She can wear anything with aplomb yet she chooses the simplicity of a dress. She marches rather than walks, she drinks espresso and she devours books and art and film. And she is subversively sexy without trying."

Victoria added her latest pieces represented clothes she'd want to wear herself. The new collection features dark-coloured apparel with bold masculine tailoring, but features flirty hemlines and polka dots for a more feminine look. Do you like the 38-year-old star collection?

Katy in Mint!

LONG OR SHORT? Always in Mint!

Katy Perry caused a stir in 2 different dresses at the Grammy Awards. Firstly, she opted for a Gucci’s gown with a keyhole cut-out in the chest, then, for the after-party, she step out in a beautiful short shine mini dress teamed up with a stud clutch and yellow pumps. The color choice – mint– seems Katy’s new favorite. We love both, but which one is your favorite?

Dame Helen Mirren debuted pink hair at the BAFTA Awards

The 67-year-old actress turned heads with the shocking style transformation as she arrived at the ceremony at London's Royal Opera House in floor length off-white Nicholas Oakwell gown with blonde hair dyed pink.

Explaining her style choice, she said: "I just thought it would be  fun to dye my hair pink. I mean, honestly, I was watching 'America's Next Top Model' and the season where there were the British girls. Well, the British girl who won, she had pink hair, and I thought: 'That looks really pretty.' So I'm copying her, basically."

Helen also matched her nails with light pink polish and her lipstick for the event. What do you think about her new look?

Loving loafers
This Fall, go for loafers- they’re a little bit preppy, but mainly classic, so you can wear these for years, and your feet will thank you as it so comfy

Jennifer Lopez doesn't choose her red carpet outfits until the last minute
The actress-and-singer's stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn don't usually decide what the 'On the Floor' hitmaker will wear to big events until the day of the event and tend to have three outfit options.
With the Grammy Awards this weekend, they said: "We are still in the process of prepping, but we usually narrow things down to our top three looks, and we won't know until 10 minutes before she walks out the door."
The 'Parker' actress - who recently stunned on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards in a Zuhair Murad gown - feels drawn to the designer because his pieces encompass her glamorous side as a Hollywood actress, as well as her more daring side as a singer and performer, the stylists added.
They said: "Zuhair has the amazing taste level for glamour but with subtle undertones of edge. And considering that [Jennifer] is not only a movie star but a musician and performer, it's important that we find designers that can create clothes that deliver a statement in both worlds."
Do you like her Zuhair Murad gown for the Golden Globe Awards? Give us your opinion!

Marc Jacobs has been forced to postpone his New York Fashion Week show
The designer had been due to showcase his latest collection at the New York State Armory on Monday (11.02.13) but has now moved it to Thursday (14.02.13) to the Lincoln Center.
Marc Jacobs International president Robert Duffy says the delay has been caused by missing bags, shoes and two fabrics and they don't expect to get delivery until Monday. However, with the Marc Jacobs show now taking place in the new late Thursday evening time slot on the last day of NYFW, many editors will have already left the city for London Fashion Week, which starts the next day.
Jacobs' more affordable line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, will take the Monday slot, but will move from the New York State Armory to the The Tents at Lincoln Center.
