Nicola Formichetti is leaving Mugler

The designer – and also Lady Gaga’s stylist – is to depart the French fashion house after spending just over two years as creative director.

Nicola unveiled his first collection for the label for autumn/winter 2011-12, and the show featured a catwalk appearance from his close friend Lady Gaga. Despite the "mutual agreement" to step down at Mugler, Nicola will still be keeping busy as he works as the creative director of Uniqlo, creates fashion for his own line Nicopanda and will still act as Gaga's stylist.
Until now, there is no news about who is going to replace the designer’s job. Do you have a guess?

Christopher Raeburn has been shortlisted for the 2013 UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) Awards

The British designer joins Alex Monroe and Karl Donoghue in the illustrious Designer Business of the Year category, while quirky accessories company Tatty Devine will go up against The Cambridge Satchel Company and Mark/Giusti for Accessories Business of the Year.
The ceremony is set to take place on May 23 in London and will feature a fashion show for shortlisted labels to display their new collections.
Other categories include Brand of the Year, Outstanding Achievement Award, Retailer of the Year and UKFT Rise Newcomer Award.
