IN or OUT ?

Raf Simons claims John Galliano's work is no longer relevant. The Dior creative director took over from Galliano earlier this year, after he was sacked for anti-Semitic behaviour, and while he has always admired his creations, Raf doesn't think his work represents the modern woman.

"I have so much respect for John [Galliano]'s technical skill and the fantasy, it's just something that I don't find relevant now, especially when it restricts a woman, because in every other area they have so much freedom”, he said to Vogue Australia.

Before taking the helm at the French fashion house, Raf was working at Jil Sander, and his first two collections for Dior - couture autumn/winter 2012 and spring/summer 2013 - both received critical acclaim, and he's been praised for his ability to fuse Dior's traditional ideals with contemporary styling, bringing the house up to date without losing any of its unique charm or history.

Do you agree with Raf Simon about Galliano’s work? If so, why?

TOP 5 Worst Fashion Mistakes

… because there are some things you should just NEVER wear. Ever!

1- Fanny Packs The fanny pack went out of style way back in the 80s, taking side ponytails and neon brights along with them. But you’re not on vacation in 1983, so lose that vinyl fanny pack!

2- Piling on too much Jewelry Instead of piling on numerous bracelets and necklace together, try one big chunky bracelet or a super cool necklace. It’s a great way to make a statement without making a racket.

3- All-Over Animal Print A little bit of animal print goes a long way. If you do choose to wear a piece with this print, make sure it’s only one item of your outfit. Only shoes or only your bag, etc.

4- Crocs Crocs are for the beach. For small children. For doctor and nurses. For working in the garage or around the house. Only!

5- Scrunchies Because scrunchies went out of fashion at the same time fanny packs did. Just say “no”.

… all you need to avoid
