Smells like One Direction
Following
the steps of JLS, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez,
Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry – who have all enjoyed success with
their scents–, One Direction is to create a women's fragrance ,
which will be available next year. The boy band has teamed up with
luxury brand Olivann Beauty. The company has been working on the concept
for around six months and the perfume will launch globally in late
2013.

Wang for Balenciaga
Alexander Wang will become the new creative director of
Balenciaga. The New York based designer will take over the helm next week,
replacing Nicolas Ghesquiere, who officially exit on 30-11-2012. According to WWD, the choice of Wang suggests
Balenciaga want to tone down the elitist, couture-like approach of Ghesquiere,
and open up to a broader audience. We can’t wait to see the French fashion
house new collection!
